Jeffrey specialises in construction and engineering projects with particular experience in major construction, infrastructure, mining and energy projects.
He was senior in-house counsel at international engineering firm Hatch for eight years, working on projects throughout Australia, Asia and Africa. Prior to that he practised as a construction disputes lawyer at Addleshaw Goddard and Manches in England.
He has a deep understanding of the mining and metals, energy and infrastructure industries and has advised on the significant issues that arise during the planning, preparation, design (FEED), execution and close-out stages of major projects.
Jeffrey has advised on the full range of issues arising on major projects under all procurement methodologies, including tender processes, contract drafting and negotiation, construction, joint venture related issues and requirements in relation to probity, tendering and confidentiality.
