Hilary Hunt is a highly skilled banking and finance lawyer with more than 20 years’ experience in diverse markets and varying economic climates.
Hilary specialises in all aspects of corporate financing from advising on structuring to negotiation of documentation and completion. Hilary has extensive experience working on complex transactions and has particular expertise in project management, risk analysis, structuring advice, structured finance, multi lender transactions, intercreditor issues and derivatives.
During her time in Perth, Hilary has developed niche expertise in shipping finance (in a variety of offshore jurisdictions), funding structures for unincorporated joint ventures, structuring transactions for the affordable/social housing markets, carbon trading markets, the PPSA and the newly proposed Mining Rehabilitation Fund.
Hilary’s practice draws upon significant international experience, having worked as a senior lawyer in the international finance department at leading London firm Linklaters prior to returning to a partnership at leading banking law firm Buddle Findlay in New Zealand.
